A busy day

Be happy
Mali poklon za moju prvu studenticu, 8-godišnju Ana Lena, da joj kažem:
Dobrodošli u svijet čipke!
Neka ovo bude mjesto za opuštanje i kreativno izražavanje!

The seahorse!
Such a beautiful, yet tiny little creature.
I have always been fascinated by the seahorse such a strange beauty. Is no wonder he is one of my favorites.
The seahorse is a symbol of the unusual. Also, the seahorse is a symbol of patience. Something, many of us often have difficulty finding.

Alice in Wonderland by Salvador Dali

Alice in Wonderland by Salvador Dali
I saw the Dali exhibition in London a few years ago, which was magical.
I have seen many of those works in books, but seeing them in person was something else. Inspired by his Alice in Wonderland i had the idea of making bobbin lace.

Waves inspire me…
Not because they raise high,
But because they leap up
Again after falling…

jonathan livingston seagull
Here are the quotes I like from the book Jonathan Livingston Seagull by Richard Bach.

Jonathan Livingston seagull
Don’t believe what your eyes are telling you. All they show is limitation. Look with your understanding. Find out what you already know and you will see the way to fly.
How much more there is now to living! Instead of our drab slogging forth and back to the fishing boats, there’s reason to life! We can lift ourselves out of ignorance, we can find ourselves as creatures of excellence and intelligence and skill. We can be free! We can learn to fly!
Jonathan Seagull discovered that boredom and fear and anger are the reasons that gull’s life is so short and with these gone from his thought, he lived a long fine life indeed.
It was morning, and the new sun sparkled gold across the ripples of a gentle sea.
